"We come to life to purify, don’t we?" We often hear this sentence. It covers part of the reason why we come to life. Of course, we also come to experience. If we don’t realize we’ve done something wrong, pain escalates to another level. Maybe it turns into an illness. Our body is trying to tell us something.
We examine others, saying, "If I were them, I wouldn’t do that" or "How beautifully they did it, I should learn from that." Sometimes, we say, "Look, the same thing always happens to them." They keep going around in the same circle, always suffering, and the issue remains the same…
Why doesn’t a person let go of their pain? Is a lifetime not enough for everything? Is this where reincarnation comes from? The ego is not in favor of change. It wants things to happen its way. It has defined itself that way. Happiness doesn’t change the pain. At this point, if we get involved with the ego, it pulls us into the cycle of pain. If the ego is not willing to change, meaning its time has not yet come, we need to accept that. Acceptance comes from the heart. Otherwise, the flow is disrupted, isn’t it? One must die before they die.
