Usui Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique. Compared to many other so-called energy practices, Usui Reiki has some fundamental differences.
First, the origin and history of Usui Reiki are well-documented and clearly established. Developed by Mikao Usui in 1922, Usui Reiki is a systematically transmitted teaching. In contrast, many other so-called energy techniques are often passed down from person to person or have unclear origins.

Secondly, Usui Reiki is a technique focused on self-healing and helping others to heal. This practice aims to balance a person's energy system and promote physical, emotional, and mental healing. In contrast, some other energy practices tend to focus more on personal power, cosmic energy, or psychic abilities.
Thirdly, Usui Reiki includes specific techniques and symbols that help practitioners connect with the energy. Through these techniques, Reiki masters open themselves as energy channels, receiving and transmitting "Reiki," the divine life energy. Many other so-called energy techniques do not typically incorporate such symbolic or ritualistic elements.

Finally, the application areas of Usui Reiki are quite broad, and it is also used as a complementary approach to medical treatment. Reiki energy has a supportive effect in many areas, such as stress reduction, relaxation, pain management, and sleep regulation.

In conclusion, Usui Reiki is different from other so-called energy practices because it is a documented, healing-focused method that is globally accepted. Usui Reiki is a proven technique for energy balancing and healing.
