Could we, perhaps, be robots?

We know a robot is lifeless, but we can’t help but be amazed at its intelligent software. Isn’t that true? Robots, which for centuries have had the rules of life and information loaded into them, providing ready answers when asked. Is there any chance of competing with them in this way? But what if the competition isn’t about this?

What if the race isn’t about giving ready-made answers, but about creativity, about the sublime spirit we call inspiration, which goes beyond the mind and intellect, and is not related to knowledge, a living, vibrant understanding that is newly born? And maybe, what if the competition is not about giving the best answer, but about feeling the deepest, and daring to surrender to that feeling?

Is it something not found by thinking and scanning files, but something that fills us completely when we are empty inside, like sunlight or an electrical current?

Or, maybe, what if we are like a television screen with the image in the room, but the actual filming location is far away, and the mind is like a homeowner trying to watch multiple channels at once?

Just like the heating program of the oven that is plugged into the socket, and the cooling program of the fridge that is plugged into the socket, if we don’t even know which program of the TV should be active, which program should we watch to make the best choice?

We will choose the TV program closest to our interests. But perhaps the best choice isn’t deciding which channel to watch, but discovering the reality behind the screen. It could also be about realizing the pure existence behind every image, every thought.

I believe, if we want to differentiate ourselves from robots and, casually speaking, machines powered by electricity and solar energy, we can start by remembering that there is a soul beyond the memory programs used for hundreds of years in our brains, and that it is a flow of wisdom, expanding step by step, coming from our essence...

A living being is one that lives with love, a loving soul. The human soul knows love, it recognizes it. Maybe, when it comes to choosing which TV channel to watch, our soul knows best, and it should also check if the channel is broadcasting, if this is indeed the case, remembering that behind it, there is a reality, someone who made it happen and someone who is making it happen...
