WHAT ARE WE EXPERIENCING?

Hello, We have made a fast entry into a rapidly beginning year, and our flow continues without slowing down. I wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the successive disasters in our country, healing for the wounded, and strength and patience for those enduring the pain of their loved ones.
In my article explaining the eclipse on November 8, you may remember that I mentioned the closing of a 20-year cycle. After the Full Moon in Leo on February 5, which occurred at 16 degrees and triggered the previous eclipse at the same degree, we experienced an earthquake.
The number 16 carries a Pluto-like influence, breaking down anything that is not solid or as it should be, forcing us to rebuild it properly.
In March, Saturn moved into Pisces, where it will stay for 2.5 years, shifting the lessons we are set to receive during this period. The fundamental lesson it aims to teach us is unity, being one, embracing unconditional love, and acting with the awareness that we are a whole. Look at how, as a nation, we all rushed to help those affected by the disaster, how we felt their pain as our own… Even if we already knew this without experiencing hardship, some may have forgotten. We are human; other aspects of life may have taken precedence. However, if we do not wish to be reminded of this through painful experiences, we must live with the consciousness of unity.
Pisces represents the whole, encompassing all of us—not just a few, but the majority. The more of us who embrace this unity consciousness, the more easily and gently we can learn the lessons Saturn brings. The air we breathe, the food we eat, the water we drink… We have been reminded through painful experiences how precious these are. The important thing is to recognize these blessings without having to endure suffering.
Saturn will remain in Pisces for 2.5 years, and Pisces also represents water. This suggests possible floods, landslides, or even drought. On a personal level, we can start by becoming aware of our wastefulness. Then, we can continue by being grateful that we have the means to extend a helping hand to those in need.
Right after Saturn's transition, Pluto also entered Aquarius for the first time, where it will stay for 20 years. While it will briefly return to Capricorn before settling in Aquarius fully in 2024, this marks the beginning of a new era—one that actually started long ago. We have been receiving the lessons of this new age since 2019 when Saturn moved into Aquarius. Saturn, once again, gave us its lessons first and then moved on to another sign.
The 2019 pandemic period forced us to rely more on technology and seek solutions through it—something we experienced globally. I mention this briefly as a reminder without diving into further detail.
Now, we are in a phase where we face the results of the lessons we have received. When Pluto moved into Capricorn in 2008, it triggered financial upheavals, forcing us to make radical changes. Some had to change careers, relocate for work, or undergo transformations due to their spouse’s or family’s circumstances.
Now, we will see how solid the foundations we built since 2008 truly are. If they are weak, we will identify the areas that need revision. Between March 24 and June 11, we will watch a preview of the next 20 years. During this period, we can recognize the areas that need adjustment and use the time until January to fix them before Pluto enforces changes.
April begins with intense energies, and unexpected surprises are likely. I wish I could say it will be easier, but that would not be realistic. While astrology signals a tough beginning, what truly matters is how we perceive and interpret these events. Is there such a thing as a painless birth? Think of a mother’s joyful tears when she holds her newborn despite the labor pains—it is the moment she first feels the beauty her baby brings into her life.
We, too, may go through some painful experiences until 2025, but a brand-new era awaits us. Let’s take a glimpse into what this era might bring:
Freedom—being able to express your thoughts and rights freely.
Protecting your rights while respecting others'.
Fighting for justice, not just for yourself, but for others as well.
Revolutionary advancements in science, technology, and space exploration—perhaps inventions we never even dreamed possible.
Major changes in global governance, significant discussions about world leaders.
New treaties concerning borders and land disputes between nations.
Potential shifts in government structures and leadership.
The transitional phase may be challenging, but what follows will bring long-lasting and meaningful progress.
Aquarius signifies freedom, seeking rights, and initiating revolutionary changes. It means leaving the past behind and looking forward. Science, technology, space, and astrology will gain more prominence.
Astrology is a science used to understand ourselves, make sense of life events, and prepare for potential challenges. Since we are entering the Age of Aquarius, where astrology will take a front seat, I have chosen to focus more on writing about it. My goal is to share astrological insights in a way that is accessible even to those unfamiliar with the subject, helping them better understand themselves. Birth charts are like our personal signatures, offering us a path to self-discovery. If I can contribute even a little to those on this journey, I will be truly happy.
I wish for everything in your life to unfold with ease and joy, leading you effortlessly to the happiest place you can be.
With love,
Zeliha SEVİNÇ
