TRUE LOVE

TAll living beings feed according to the food pyramid, but the part where everyone feeds on love is somehow absent from that pyramid. Everyone has found their own path of love, whether they love this way or that. But what do we base our love on? Perhaps the deepest thing we learn may seem like a single way of loving. Some love unconditionally, some love based on their interests, but they love nonetheless. Everyone has their own way of loving. Perhaps, whether consciously or unconsciously, this could lead to an endless definition of true love.

Humans are a very complex creature, difficult to understand. Their mind, emotions, and soul are all relatively different from one another. Therefore, there are as many ways of loving as there are fingerprints. Think of the people you love; you've probably hurt them a million times. Does this mean we don't really love them, or does it show that sometimes we love and sometimes we don't? Every person can make mistakes, hurt others, or part ways, etc., etc. To love may be a form of captivity for some, but if we look at my fingerprint, love is an act of courage. It is the ability to say, "If I've hurt you, I'm sorry, my heart won't allow your sorrow." For this reason, although the love of cowards builds prisons for themselves, the courageous love and leave. Because the cowards, forget about letting that love live, they don't even have the strength to live it.

Perhaps, as everything strives to find balance, those who love courageously may balance out those who love fearfully. The world is filled with hearts that seem destined to suffer, hearts that don't match their rightful counterpart. Maybe there are hearts that will never meet, and we will never know. Even though everyone knows the truth that every living being will die one day, so much is left unknown. Sometimes, a person wonders at the fact that we live knowing we will die one day, while at the same time, they strive to live the many things they do not know.

The fearful ones, who wish to be with those they love every moment of their lives, never put in any effort when it comes to parting from them. Even though they try to convince themselves they are doing good by the other person, they refuse to accept the fact that the other person has chosen a life without them. They think they have been abandoned, when in fact, they themselves have sent the other person away. Those who truly love produce solutions to be with the ones they love, while those who love based on interests make excuses.

People who nurture compassion in their hearts love beautifully, without breaking or tiring. It's such a delicious kind of love that in it, you feel the Creator. Those who have tasted this love, who feel the Creator, will never part from it. However, those who cannot make space in their hearts to feel the Creator will head towards darkness. Perhaps this is why people who have been together for many years still love each other with the same love. It is such a precious beauty that only those whose hearts are filled with compassion can see it.
