PLAYING GOD

Updated: Mar 10

As bad as living selfishly is, it is equally bad to help someone without them asking for help. How could helping possibly be bad, you may wonder. If we consider that every word we speak and even every thought that crosses our mind affects countless possibilities in the realm of examples, think about what helping could affect. Alright, we’re helping, but what’s wrong with that? How could it negatively affect anyone?

Since not all beings are at the same level of consciousness, each being’s process of evolution works differently. The path they need to walk, the experiences they need to have, and the lessons they need to learn are somewhat different from one another. People who view things from a higher consciousness can sometimes see what others cannot and, in some cases, may even know the path to the solution, and they cannot resist intervening. Here, the person may mistakenly think they are helping and, in doing so, may prolong the other person’s process of evolution. While the person with higher consciousness wastes their energy, the one who is believed to have been helped does not receive the lesson they are supposed to learn, thereby delaying their evolution.

Also, the other person did not even ask for help. Let’s consider someone who lives like this constantly. Well, the other person will not appreciate the goodness you did; they weren’t willing to accept it, so how could they feel the value of the help they received? In this case, the more you help, the more you open your arms to their ingratitude instead of their thanks. Isn’t this, in a way, infringing upon the rights of others? In fact, much harm is done, thinking that kindness was done, both to oneself and the other person. For those who truly think of others' well-being, it’s hard to remain indifferent, but in fact, not helping is much greater goodness.

At this point, there’s also a negative aspect, which is feeding the ego of the person helping. Even if the person is unaware, by taking on the role of God, playing this role, they move themselves in the opposite direction of the surrender that needs to be achieved.

If someone asks you for help, the person is open, ready to understand, at a level where they can appreciate the value of the help, and moreover, they are ready to progress in their evolution at this point. In other words, while the divine plan is in motion, it’s your duty to accompany the traveler on their path, not to become God. Thus, both the giver and the receiver of the help use their energy in the right place and at the right time. This avoids wasting energy on the wrong person and instead helps touch those who truly need it.

Sometimes, a person asks for help, someone with higher consciousness helps, but despite the help given, the result doesn’t change. In other words, you’re left with the energy you spent. In that case, we should understand that the person asking for help is not yet ready to change or progress. In this case, don’t force it so that the evolution process doesn’t get further delayed.

When we think that help without a request is good, we are only and truly doing harm. Let everyone play their role freely. Let the sun rise, let the trees bloom, let the sky cry, let spring come to the earth, let the air grow still, let it snow... Just as you do not mix with the flowing time, don’t mix with people; let them live with their good and bad, let them open their palms to the absolute owner of the universe, and if you have a role in the divine plan, you will walk to the place you’re meant to go, completely.

With love.
