LOSS OF JOY AND DIVINE QUALITIES

Updated: Mar 10

We are passing through times and lands burdened with heavy karma. Individual and collective spaces are more intertwined than ever. Some of us feel the world’s memory and collective energy more intensely, almost overwhelmingly. However, as human beings, our nervous systems have not evolved to handle this level of intensity. Even if we consciously or unconsciously create boundaries to protect ourselves from excessive and chaotic information, we can still feel overwhelmed, completely shut down, or misuse these sensitive states instead of embracing their true value.

For a long time, we have been speaking about missing the past, about everything losing its essence, about living in a spiritually distorted, dull period—about a general sense of fatigue and lack of joy. There is, of course, a negative feedback loop between internal and external sources, creating a contagious effect. Let’s give it a name: a collective loss of joy!

We know that all emotions, thoughts, events, matter, time, and space are temporary—they belong to the realm of polarity. However, joy is not merely human or worldly; it is almost celestial, a divine quality! What does this mean? It means that joy is an inherent, unconditional source within all of us—something not lost or gained, not dependent on illusion, but rather a fundamental essence. Joy is a state of blessing, celebration, peace, certainty, and acceptance. If you’ve never had a difficult period where joy remained in the background, you might struggle to grasp the phrase "they passed away in joy." But joy is still a part of you.

Why Do We Perceive It Differently?

Many negative influences tied to your root energy center (which governs worldly aspects of life) affect your hara—the center of emotions, inner wisdom, and the ability to enjoy life. This disruption moves upward, leading to a loss of personal power in your solar plexus. Like a row of dominoes, once this happens, you lose certainty, and your heart begins to close. Then, in your throat center, you lose the ability to express joy, suppressing it instead of sharing it with the world. This leads to mental fog in your third eye, where your vision of joy becomes clouded. By the time this energy reaches your crown chakra, the result is excessive attachment to the material world and a loss of spiritual connection.

Now, try reading this journey in reverse—because energy flows both ways.

After recognizing this familiar pattern, let’s talk about reviving joy for yourself, for the world, for karma, and for the collective. I’d like to offer a few humble suggestions, and I would love for you to add your own in the comments—because sharing joy itself is a joyful act!

How to Reconnect with Joy

  • If you feel joy, don’t suppress it for any reason—our world needs it. Joy is one of the highest expressions of love and intelligence, even if society doesn’t always label it that way.

  • Spend more time with things that bring you joy—nature, animals, children, music, art, dance, movement, and creativity. The issue isn’t that there are too many joy-stealing influences in your life, but that you have too few connections to sources that replenish your joy.

  • Practice meditation, breathwork, energy work, gratitude, heart and mind purification, service, and community involvement. These are direct pathways to joy.

  • Ask yourself: What would help me connect with joy today? How can I see, feel, and embrace joy?

  • Start and end your day by wishing joy for all beings. Visualize it, remember it, feel it, and gift it to the world.

  • Be mindful of your language. Words shape reality. We say "loss of joy," but we need a new term—because nothing is ever truly lost. Everything that exists continues to exist and can be found again, even in the present moment.

  • Remember: Joy and sorrow are siblings. The more light you carry, the more shadows you encounter. Sorrow is also a divine quality. And paradoxically, the only way to rise from existential crises and the unbearable weight of being is through joy itself.

May we fully embrace both, experiencing the greatest renewal that existence can offer. The world may try to weaken your joy and scatter your sorrow, but remember—what is within you is eternal.

Life is short, some things are everlasting. So, ask yourself:What does your soul need right now?Nurture it.

May your world turn toward joyful springs. 🌿✨
