CONDITIONED MIND

Updated: Mar 10

Nothing has an end, every end is the beginning of something else; the key is not to cling to endings. Not clinging to endings means staying in the flow. The mind becomes so conditioned that sometimes, after having a beautiful experience one day, it tries to recreate that same experience the next day, seeking to continue the pleasure it derived from it. Letting go and accepting that this phase has come to an end is incredibly difficult, and by the time you accept it, days or months of your life might have passed without you noticing.

The feeling of pleasure emerges when you lose yourself—when your sense of self disappears, when you lose track of time, and in moments of your absence. On the other hand, your mind makes copies of your experiences at that moment, storing them in your memory in hopes that you can relive them, but can it ever truly be the same as the first time? Every moment is unique and one of a kind, like snowflakes falling for millions of years, with each one being different. There’s no way they could resemble each other.

Then, you struggle to be happy… But as long as your ego is present, how can you truly live?

A mind that has set goals through conditioning is struggling, losing awareness, and in that moment, you cannot hear the voice of your soul over the noise of your mind. The worst part is, you cannot do this intentionally or knowingly. It is impossible. All possibilities happen only with Allah’s permission and approval.

Your efforts are not to escape ego or reach a goal. All of your efforts are, in fact, to make you reach the point where you can finally say, "I give up." For you to be able to cry out with all your cells, "I surrender." What’s more interesting is that it’s crucial for you to understand what surrender truly means in the eyes of Allah. If your idea of surrender is not aligned with the true meaning and definition of surrender, you haven’t truly surrendered.

Every obstacle that arises in front of you is meant to dissolve the ego identity you have created in your mind. It’s for your purification. Allah’s face is in effortless purity, in childlike innocence… For you to see His face, unfortunately, it’s not enough to just dissolve the ego. It is only possible with His will, with His acceptance. The system of Allah must want and take you. This can never be by your own will or effort. Essentially, everything has already happened and been completed. You’re just waiting for your turn in the game. You live trying to name what you believe to be the past and future, based on your mind’s illusion of time.

In reality, you are not the one moving like the needle of a record player. The true, essential "you" stands still, while everything around you moves like a revolving record. The rotating Earth, the rotating Moon, the entire galaxy in motion—all move around you, as you remain the constant design. The seasons move around you, and night and day go on forever…
