EXISTANCE

Hello Varoluş Magazine readers. I serve as both a writer and a graphic designer for our magazine. To continue with my writings, I try to read as many books as possible, and I also read our writers' articles several times each month to find photos that align with the topic while preparing the magazine. In this way, I can say that I feed spiritually from many sources. So, what does spiritualism mean? Derived from the Latin word spiritus (soul), spiritualism means "spiritism." In my view, spiritualism is about knowing oneself, being tolerant, and perceiving the world correctly within this framework. This is what is meant by spiritism. I don’t think self-knowledge is an end in itself. These are all related to awareness, and when the time comes, a person realizes it. Thus, a new chapter opens in our lives. For example, even though I have been meditating for 5 years, I am just now learning the connected breathing technique; it wasn’t a “tool” I used. Maybe something in my subconscious was not allowing it.

By the way, what is this subconscious? It is thought that the conscious mind makes up 10% of the brain, while the subconscious covers 90%. Given these percentages, it is a great puzzle to conclude that we make our decisions with our own will. The question of whether the subconscious is guiding us or if we are guiding the subconscious clears up this puzzle. The subconscious is the place where events from childhood to the present are recorded. The early childhood stage plays an important role here, and the events that follow are generally similar to each other.

The subconscious works automatically. If positive records are predominant, we encounter positive situations; if negative records dominate, we face negative circumstances and fill with negative emotions. The daydreams we think we are having throughout the day are actually shown to us by our subconscious. In other words, we don’t think; thoughts come to us.

The most dangerous thing is to interfere with them. Let’s observe what our mind is thinking as a spectator, this is the right approach. If we intervene with thoughts like "What a bad thought, I shouldn’t think this way," and get angry at them or push them aside, our mind will lose its aesthetic of functioning.

What we actually need is to empty our subconscious or to integrate unfinished experiences and neutralize them. This way, we can prevent the energy leaks that are lost in our subconscious and use this saved energy for more beneficial tasks.

Before initiating Reiki, our Reiki teacher, İsmail Bülbül, also applies subconscious coding therapy. This way, students can easily perform Reiki practices and find the peace they are seeking more easily.
