One day, I came across a cat near my house.
A tiny kitten, its eyes in terrible condition due to illness, protruding from their sockets... When I took it to the vet, I was told it was caused by the herpes virus, and a treatment was suggested.
The treatment process lasted about four months, but despite all efforts, I couldnāt save its eyes. One eye had to be removed, and the other retained about 50% vision.
Our vet always said it would grow into a very beautiful cat and gave it a name during the treatment process: Blind Beauty.
A handsome male with a palm-like tail. š¾
As of the moment this piece is written, Blind Beauty has been missing for nearly 100 hours...
My prayer is for its return. š

In this story of life, sometimes we lose an animal weāve bonded with⦠Sometimes, we lose a person we love deeply.
Maybe we just part ways. Maybe death comes for themā¦
There isnāt much difference between the two.
Every separation is a kind of death.
And every separation deserves its own mourning.
Every love carries the weight of its own grief.
During this mourning process:
Sometimes, we hope... Sometimes, we rebel.
Sometimes, we dream... Sometimes, reality hits us hard.
Sometimes, we long... Sometimes, we rage.
Sometimes, we recall moments of happiness... Sometimes, even remembering just hurts.
Sometimes, we pray... And sometimes, we canāt even bring ourselves to pray.
The hardest part is moving into acceptance.
Accepting that the animal or the person we loved and bonded with is no longer in our lives.
Accepting that we must send them off into eternity.
Acceptance takes time...
To absorb this reality with our entire being takes time.
Sometimes, it takes three months; sometimes, three years...
No one can predict it.
But the moment we begin to gather ourselves, the moment we start healing the wound in our hearts, the moment we step into recoveryā
That moment is when acceptance begins.
Accepting what is.
With every fiber of our being...
