The word chakra comes from Sanskrit and means "spinning wheel." Chakras are considered energy centers in the body, located at specific points along the spine. Each chakra is associated with a particular color and function.
Here are the chakras, their colors, and their roles:
Root Chakra (Red) – Located at the base of the spine, between the perineum and the tailbone. It is associated with stability, survival, career, and basic needs.
Sacral Chakra (Orange) – Found just below the navel in the lower abdomen. It governs emotional balance, creativity, and sexuality.
Solar Plexus Chakra (Yellow) – Located in the upper abdomen, near the stomach. It is linked to personal power, self-esteem, and willpower.
Heart Chakra (Green) – Positioned in the center of the chest, at heart level. It represents love, compassion, and emotional connection.
Throat Chakra (Blue) – Situated in the throat region, just above the collarbone. It influences communication, self-expression, and truth.
Third Eye Chakra (Indigo/Purple) – Found between the eyebrows, on the forehead. It is associated with intuition, insight, and spiritual awareness.
Crown Chakra (White/Purple) – Located at the top of the head. It connects to universal wisdom, spirituality, and enlightenment.
Balanced chakras ensure a smooth flow of energy throughout the body, promoting health, emotional stability, and inner peace. When chakras are blocked or imbalanced, they can lead to physical and emotional difficulties. Practices like meditation, yoga, and energy healing help maintain chakra balance and overall well-being.
