"He is within me, and I am within Him. Here's a riddle for you," said the father to his son.
His son thought for a long time and suddenly exclaimed, "I got it, Dad!"
"When I first knew Him, He was the one constantly watching me from above, the one with strict rules. If I didn't follow them, He would punish me—burn me, scorch me. But if I repented, He would forgive me. If I didn’t and kept going, He would accumulate my punishments and, in the end, cast me into a place called hell—where no one knows exactly where it is."
"But then, I realized that He does not punish. He only loves. He does not burn. And if there was anyone who did the burning, it was me—through what I told myself, through what I did to myself. Then, I saw that whatever I did to others, I was actually doing to myself. Whatever I saw in others, I was seeing in myself. I faced myself, with all its pain and sweetness, yet I never truly saw who I was."
"Who is the doer? Who is the listener? Who is the seer? Who am I, really?" I asked. I kept searching for Him.
"You once told me that He breathed a part of Himself into me," I said. "Then I found the answer—He is breath! The vast, infinite atmosphere outside of me, and inside me, a piece of the same."
"But I wasn’t fully convinced."
"So I kept searching and found another answer. 'He is life,' I said. The endless macro life outside of me, the infinite micro life within me. It continues, flows, pulses with vitality. This is life—this is Him! He sees through the eyes of people, hears through their ears, and holds the solution to every problem within them. He is alive, ever-growing, ever-expanding, eternal. When we die, we merge with Him, yet life continues."
"As I kept thinking, suddenly, I grasped the concept of intelligence. Its meaning surrounded me completely. I realized what intelligence truly is. He is intelligence. My answer to the riddle right now is this: intelligence—something I cannot fully describe, yet I have grasped."
"He is infinite intelligence, and within me is a part of Him."
"He is the one who solves everything, constantly expanding, always progressing, flowing freely, formless, shapeless. Just like a riddle, He has hidden Himself from me—or rather, my mind only thought He was hidden. But I am a part of Him, too. I create, I see, I solve. I am from Him."
"This is my realization now, Dad. This understanding itself is so liberating. To be a part of an intelligence that holds every solution, sees everything, and has infinite power—how beautiful that is."
His father smiled. "Well done," he said. "Go deeper. The path is right..."
This version stays true to the original meaning while making it flow naturally in English. Let me know if you’d like any refinements! 😊
